IAPP Opens Call for Speakers at Navigate 2026 Brussels Event

Privacy professionals worldwide have been invited to take the stage at IAPP Navigate 2026 in Brussels this spring.

The International Association of Privacy Professionals opened its call for speaking proposals for Navigate 2026 in Brussels, with the submission window closing on 12 April 2026. Navigate 2026 is co-hosted by the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University and is positioned as a key gathering for the global privacy and AI governance community.

Navigate 2026 is one of a growing series of IAPP events spanning the globe, alongside the Global Privacy Summit in Washington DC, the IAPP Europe Data Protection Congress in Brussels in autumn, and regional gatherings in Asia-Pacific and the Americas. The conference format brings together regulators, legal practitioners, technologists and corporate compliance leaders to examine the intersection of privacy law, AI governance and digital responsibility.

The call for speakers reflects the IAPP's broader effort to build a programme developed from within the profession. The organisation described the opportunity as a chance for practitioners to establish themselves as thought leaders in Brussels — a significant venue given the city's centrality to EU data protection policy and the ongoing evolution of the European Data Protection Board's work.

The IAPP is the world's largest membership association for privacy professionals, providing certifications including the widely recognised CIPP/E for European data protection practice. In 2024, it expanded its mission to include AI governance and digital responsibility alongside privacy, reflecting the convergence of these disciplines within the professional work of its members globally.
