Consultants

Consultants who wish to engage with our community, promoting their services and/or training, are welcome to become an Association of Association Executives Expert Advisor. This status recognizes valued and authorititive advice, consultancy and training, and provides opportunities of many types and formats.

The process of becoming and Expert Advisor involves demonstrating expertise and providing references for recent projects for associations. To request to become and advisor, complete the form below, indicating which activities you may like to be involved in.

Once your application is recieved, our Executive Director will set up a call to discuss your interest and opportunities. 

Opportunities for Expert Advisors

All activities below will include your personal profile and / or organisation logo and website link, together with contact details when preferred.

Face-to-face online engagement
  • Presenting online Seminars
  • Present on how to select a supplier / service at an online Supplier Showcase event
  • Facilitate a series of monthly member Specialist Meetings
Face-to-face physical event engagement
  • Lead a half-day session at an Associations Congress, receive appointment requests for work, and engage with association leaders and senior executives
  • Lead a half-day session at an Association Executive Forum or Association Summit and engage with association leaders and senior executives
Written content
  • Contribute best practice articles, checklists, templates etc to the AAE Resource Centre (knowledge bank)
  • Contribute to the formulation of a strategic or tactical benchmarking project, and provide analysis and comment on the output
  • Write an article for the enewsletter, website and/or magazine
  • Write a monthly blog for the enewsletter and website, and/or magazine
Video / Audio
  • Record an audio / video interview with senior association executives onsite at an Associations congress, Summit or Executive Forum
  • Record an audio / video interview with senior association executives online
Training
  • Tutor online Masterclass(es) of between 90 mins and 3 hours
  • Author eLearning course(s) of modules
  • Author eLearning training module(s)
Additional promotion
  • Entry in the AAE Consultants Directory
  • Announcement of your new status as an AAE Expert Advisor
  • Recommendation of your service to associations who request, or are identified as needing, support in your field of expertise
  • Inclusion in Supplier Update emails, with updates you provide on your service
  • AAE Expert Advisor badge, for use on your emails and website

  • Advise the AAE on its own service and offering
