European Passengers' Federation Sets 23rd Annual Conference for Maastricht
The European Passengers' Federation, the representative body for passenger organisations and organisations promoting sustainable mobility across Europe, has confirmed that its 23rd annual conference will take place in Maastricht, the Netherlands, on 5 and 6 June 2026.
The EPF conference is the federation's flagship annual gathering, bringing together representatives of its member organisations to discuss the most pressing issues in European public transport and passenger rights. This year's edition in Maastricht follows a busy period of activity for the federation, including policy work at the European level on rail rights, urban mobility, and the integration of digital transport services.
Earlier in April, the EPF's Spanish member organisation Promoció del Transport Públic hosted the eighth edition of its own annual conference in a separate event, demonstrating the breadth of activity across the federation's member network. The EPF also recently supported a research project on e-scooter and bike-share mobility in European cities, carried out in partnership with EIT Urban Mobility.
Founded to give passengers and transport users a collective voice in European policy discussions, the EPF engages with European institutions, transport operators, and decision-makers to campaign for stronger passenger rights and improved standards on public transport and international rail services across the continent.
