Developing and upscaling a successful annual international conference

What is more daunting than developing an organising an industry conference for the first time?  Wanting to upscale and outshine that very same successful conference the next time.

Once a conference format has worked a time or two and people love your conference, it is quite easy to just continue with the status quo.  But, shaking it up and doing something new, especially in an industry where operating outside the predefined lines are sometimes frowned upon, is unnerving, to say the least!   Can it be done?  Absolutely!

This session will explore the considerations for pushing the boundaries of traditional conferencing and how to think about:

  • Attracting the right speakers
  • On-boarding and involving sponsors that are a good fit
  • Shaping an integrated conference experience
  • Surrounding yourself with a well-rounded team of experts
