About the Organisation

Law Society represents solicitors in England and Wales. From negotiating with and lobbying the profession's regulators, government, and others, to offering training and advice, we're here to help, protect, and promote solicitors across England and Wales. An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit for a role at the heart of the Law Society's campaigning and political influencing activity.

The Law Society is the independent professional body for over 200,000 solicitors in England and Wales. A year into the new government, there is a significant opportunity to influence the political debate, drive important issues such as access to justice, the rule of law, and a thriving legal business sector up the agenda, and influence policy on behalf of our members.

About the role

Are you a proficient, effective communicator with a passion for high-quality customer service and gathering valuable audience insights? This is an exciting opportunity to join the Law Society as a Marketing Intelligence Executive in our busy Member Communications and Marketing team. You will play a key role in managing delivery of customer acquisition and retention activity through all interactions – including events, telephone calls, and written communications - capturing insights from the Law Society’s professional community and providing them with a high level of customer service, as a front-line touch point for our membership.

Joining a new team, you’ll help grow our marketing intelligence and insights work, communicating the value and benefits of the Law Society’s offer to solicitors, partners, customers and wider stakeholders across the legal profession, as well as securing income for a range of products and services.

You will understand the importance of key customer touchpoints, demonstrate effective communications and proactive relationship building, collaborating with colleagues at all levels across the organisation. Adaptable to changing priorities, you’ll build a deep understanding of our audiences and how they interact with our products and services by capturing customer feedback and insights to create high-quality, accurate and consistent reporting that helps inform wider activities and projects.

You will liaise with key internal stakeholders including our membership operations, membership engagement, communications, events, and support centre teams, driving effective collaborations that meet customer needs. This is an excellent opportunity to directly interact with our members, using effective interpersonal skills to make a difference for solicitors across England and Wales.
