Cankarjev dom is Slovenia’s main congress centre whose credentials include the highest number of international congresses and a mobile group of PCO at various conference venues around Slovenia. Located in the heart of Ljubljana, it offers an ideal setting for international congresses. The venue is also well connected by public transport, making it easily accessible for both local and international delegates.

Cankarjev dom boasts 23 multi-purpose conference halls and represents the largest purpose-built convention centre in Slovenia. A big advantage is the diversity of spaces for different convention needs. The main venue, 2000-seat Gallus Hall is the largest hall of this type in Slovenia (auditorium) and embodies the concept of extraordinary acoustics.

With a total surface of 36.000 sq. m., Cankarjev dom can accommodate up to 5000 visitors. With extensive lobby exhibits, it has already carried out a number of conferences with large accompanying exhibitions.

The Congress and Events Management of Cankarjev dom is one of Slovenia’s leading and most experienced Professional Congress Organiser (PCO). Cankarjev dom - CD Congress Centre is a member of ICCA and the only IAPCO accredited PCO in Slovenia.
