The BPA is seeking to improve the reputation and knowledge of those working in its sector by setting out some agreed standards to be reached from entry level onwards.  This will evolve into a fully described career pathway, with agreed levels of knowledge and experience at each stage.  Once in place, this could lead to the development of an education programme and qualifications.  This will benefit individuals who need to demonstrate their skills and employability. The concept is to create a more positive perception of the parking industry; to create a structure to encourage career longevity and to educate members about an industry enjoying many changes and developments.
