Sales, Membership and Marketing Manager
Ocean Energy Europe
About the Organisation
Ocean Energy Europe is an established membership organisation set up to represent the sector at the European level. It acts as a hub for ocean energy information & networking and works closely with the Commission, Parliament, and Member States to promote the development of ocean energy.
OEE boasts a diverse team of EU renewable energy experts; creative, innovative, and dedicated to providing the ocean energy sector with the best possible visibility and support. The Association has the support of most of the sector’s CEOs, reaches the highest political levels in advocacy, and organises the largest EU conference and exhibition on ocean energy.
About the role
The Sales, Membership & Marketing Manager is responsible for recruiting new members into the organisation and marketing Ocean Energy Europe, especially its Annual Conference & Exhibition. The Sales, Membership & Marketing Manager is an outward-facing role within the organisation, dealing with industry stakeholders on a regular basis. This requires a genuine interest in supporting ocean energy organisations on their growth path.
OEE members are the source of its political credibility, and the Association aims at building long-term relationships with its members, in some cases, since its inception in 2006. This means a focus on long-term relationship building, rather than pursuing short-term revenue-making.
