About the role
We’re looking for a Membership Coordinator to join our busy and friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting members throughout their journey, from application and admission through to renewal, engagement, and recognition. As a Membership Coordinator, you will help ensure a high‑quality service for members, potential members, and internal colleagues. You’ll process membership applications, manage member data using our membership management system, and support engagement activities that strengthen member involvement and retention.
Responsibilities
- Providing clear, detailed advice and guidance on all aspects of the membership experience.
- Processing applications for Royal Society of Chemistry membership, including Charters and Registers, accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining a broad understanding of membership regulations, admission requirements, and terms and conditions.
- Communicating membership benefits clearly and appropriately to different audiences.
- Supporting membership teams and the wider organisation by promoting key products and services.
- Contributing to weekly Member Networks communications.
- Supporting engagement and recognition activities across teams.
- Ensuring accurate administration and maintenance of member records, including subscription data.
