Graduate - Marketing and Social Media
Association for Financial Markets in Europe
About the Organisation
AFME is the leading trade association for the wholesale banking industry in Europe, focusing on a wide range of markets and banking regulation issues and offering a pan-European perspective. Our events bring together influential industry leaders, policy makers, regulators, and other stakeholders from across the financial markets to engage on the most pressing issues facing capital markets in the EU and UK.
We host a dynamic calendar of annual events, including meticulously curated conferences, topical webinars, and networking dinners, which give participants the chance to engage with thought-provoking content, exchange ideas, and make valuable connections.
About the role
The AFME Communications & Marketing team supports AFME’s advocacy and thought leadership efforts by amplifying our key messages and positions in the media, at conferences and events, and through publications and other channels. The team is also responsible for marketing a busy agenda of AFME conferences and events. We are looking for a Marketing & Social Media Graduate to support the team across all areas of Communications and Marketing work, including public relations, media relations, events marketing, website management, and social media management.
The team’s work is wide-ranging and interesting, touching on all areas of AFME advocacy, so it will give you a good understanding of how the financial services industry engages with policymakers and regulators, as well as an in-depth, integrated view of how the Communications and Marketing function operates.
