Reaching out to and engaging with Millennials and Geneartions Z through events

As association event organisers we are seeing potential attendees turning their backs on the more traditional types of events. Our audience is moving online for engagement and excitement and they are seeking the innovative and creative atmospheres and environments, at TED and SXSW, Summits and Hackathons. Millennials place a value on "experiences" and it is no coincidence that the events which are structured to help them learn, do business, network, engage and enjoy themselves are becoming the norm.

How can Associations pivot their business to attract younger attendees to their events without alienating their more traditional attendees? The great news is that ALL of our audiences are hungry for events that allow them to express their views, impact the content and the conversation. In this session William will look at innovative events and demonstrate the rules that you can adapt to your association events.
