IABM deepens Asia-Pacific focus with new initiatives at Inter BEE 2025
The International Association of Broadcast and Media Technology Suppliers (IABM) is amplifying its commitment to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region through a robust presence at Inter BEE 2025, which is set to take place in Tokyo from 19 to 21 November 2025. Central to this effort is the establishment of the IABM Hub, an initiative designed to foster member engagement and business growth across this dynamic market.
The IABM Hub will feature a dedicated member pavilion, providing a cost-effective and high-impact platform for companies to exhibit their latest products and innovations to a broad audience spanning the APAC region. This pavilion is supported by IABM’s comprehensive promotional efforts and on-ground international team, which includes key figures such as Japan-based Yoshiro Sawa, Global Head of Member Engagement Ana-Claire Bernardes, and Head of Knowledge & Insight Chris Evans. Members will benefit from direct access to buyers and business partners during the event, along with a dedicated lounge area to facilitate meetings and networking opportunities.
Ana-Claire Bernardes emphasises the value IABM places on creating meaningful opportunities for its members. “Our members value the opportunity to be part of something bigger – to access new markets, insights, and relationships that drive business forward. Through our presence at Inter BEE, IABM is helping create those opportunities and expand our members’ reach across this dynamic region and being where it matters for them,” she said.
A highlight of the IABM’s programme at Inter BEE is the IABM Industry Impact™ Briefing scheduled for 19 November from 12:30 to 14:00 in Tokyo’s International Conference Hall. Presented by Chris Evans, this session will present the latest findings from the IABM State of MediaTech Report. Attendees can expect data-rich insights into the APAC market, evolving global technology roadmaps, and investment trends that are shaping the future of media technology across the region, providing crucial knowledge for businesses aiming to stay ahead in a rapidly shifting landscape.
Further enriching member engagement, IABM will host an exclusive drinks reception on 18 November from 19:00 to 21:00 at the Stella Room, Hotel New Otani Makuhari. This event is designed as an intimate networking occasion where members can connect, exchange ideas, and forge new partnerships ahead of the main exhibition days.
Saleha Williams, CEO of IABM, underscored the strategic importance of the event within the organisation’s wider global goals. “Inter BEE is an important event for our members and a key part of IABM’s global strategy to connect, support, and inform across the market. The APAC region continues to show remarkable innovation and growth, and we’re committed to ensuring our members have the insight, visibility, and engagement to thrive,” she said.
Inter BEE offers multiple exhibition options, including various booth types at preferential member rates for organisations affiliated with IABM, allowing companies to tailor their presence based on their objectives and budget. This flexibility, combined with IABM’s support, maximises the potential reach and impact for member companies within a competitive industry environment.
IABM, known as the authoritative voice of the broadcast and media technology supply industry worldwide, continues to leverage its influence and resources to support members through market intelligence, industry training, executive networking, and participation in major trade events like Inter BEE. These efforts not only enhance visibility but also ensure members remain at the forefront of technological innovation and market trends internationally.
With these initiatives, IABM is positioning itself and its members for sustained success within APAC’s vibrant media technology sector, ensuring they are well-equipped to capitalise on emerging opportunities in one of the most rapidly evolving markets globally.
