About the Organisation
European Regions Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN) is a well-known Brussels-based platform that gathers around 120 regional organizations from more than 20 European countries. ERRIN supports members in developing their R&I ecosystems, brings a place-based perspective to European research and innovation policy and funding, and facilitates access to project opportunities for members.
About the role
Communication is at the core of ERRIN’s mission, connecting territorial research and innovation ecosystems with European policy. The Communications and Policy Manager will drive ERRIN’s strategic communication and ensure its implementation, with support from the whole team.
Key objectives of the role include increasing ERRIN’s visibility within the EU research and innovation environment in Brussels, providing ERRIN members with timely and tailored insights into new opportunities and developments, and ensuring agile and effective planning of communication activities in collaboration with the wider team.
The Communication and Policy Manager will closely follow the developments of EU R&I policy and funding, including the Multiannual Financial Framework 2028–2034. The Communications and Policy Manager will collaborate with the Working Group facilitators and project managers to ensure clear and effective communication, increasing visibility of Working Group activities and related policy developments. The Communications and Policy Manager will also oversee the ERRIN website to ensure consistency and high-quality content.
The ERRIN website serves as a central hub for the ERRIN network’s communication and for ERRIN services dedicated to members and their stakeholders. Communication is your passion, and you thrive on turning complex EU policy developments into clear, engaging, and high-impact communication.
You enjoy shaping narratives, setting direction, and ensuring that messages reach the right audiences at the right time. You are comfortable working at a strategic level while also overseeing delivery, quality, and consistency across communication channels.
