Optimising a congress for member engagement and building engagement all-year-around Sometimes a congress becomes so successful that it removes the spotlight from the association that organises it. At the European Federation of Periodontology, Sharon Legendre reversed this trend by ensuring that her association’s brand began to take centre stage at its congress. The EFP then built on this exposure by launching a Gum Health Day campaign to unite its members around a common theme and set the association apart from its competitors.
