Online events, for now, are the only option. But they must be engaging and interactive to keep delegates participating and not leaving early. Online events must provide high value content, for which your audience is prepared to pay – even if that is just with their time. The tried and tested formats of physical conferences do not always work online and the approach you might take for a small-scale webinar isn’t necessarily the best way to capture the attention of a large-scale audience.
