EAPS Launches First Paediatric Education Webinar Ahead of New UNLOK Portal

The European Academy of Paediatric Societies launches a free step-by-step webinar series as it prepares a major new education portal for clinical practitioners.

The European Academy of Paediatric Societies (EAPS) announced in March 2026 the launch of its first free step-by-step clinical webinar, to be held on 24 March 2026 on the topic of "Managing Fever in the Child". The webinar will teach clinicians how to assess fever in children, identify low-risk cases, and recognise when urgent care is needed — and is described as the first in a series forming part of EAPS's forthcoming education portal on its UNLOK platform.

The UNLOK portal represents a significant new investment by EAPS in digital educational resources for the paediatric community, designed to translate the latest science and clinical practice into accessible, practitioner-facing tools. The webinar series is intended to provide an early preview of the portal's capabilities, whilst also standing alone as a valuable continuing professional development resource.

The launch comes alongside EAPS's preparations for its 2026 Congress, with abstract submission open until 25 March 2026. The Congress spans multiple sub-specialities and involves the participation of numerous European paediatric societies, aiming to bring together the latest discoveries, therapies, and research alongside hands-on workshops and networking opportunities. The Congress programme is led by Professor Christèle Gras-Le Guen.
