Doug has a long-standing track record of leading community-focused organisations through a period of change, delivering amplified membership engagement, whilst not losing sight of the need to increase revenue, via existing and new channels, to fund initiatives. With a diverse background in digital product strategy and delivery, Doug joined the National Union of Students (NUS) in 2011 with one goal; to reach all learners at the touch of a button.  He orchestrated the ideation, design, build and adoption of NUS Digital, a national change programme and business unit focussed on the digital & data transformation of the student movement, incorporating digital services that are now used by over 2 million students via both a centralised national and federated local model. Today, Doug is Director of Innovation for OneVoice Digital, a collaboration between NUS and Arrk Group, with a focus on using his experience to help Associations (and any community of common interest) build out and execute an end-to-end engagement strategy.
