Czech Republic joins the European Speleological Federation

FSE General Assembly unanimously welcomes the Czech caving community as the newest member.

The European Speleological Federation accepted the Czech Republic as its newest member country at its General Assembly on 16 April. The decision was unanimous.

The Czech caving community joins the Federation's growing network of national bodies. FSE coordinates speleological activity across Europe, supporting research, training and the protection of underground environments, and runs the EuroSpeleo Federation activities under which the European caving calendar is organised.

Membership gives the Czech community access to FSE's pan-European programmes and its representation in conversations on cave protection, science and recreational caving at the European level.
