ARMA opens survey to shape support for research institute professionals
The Association of Research Managers and Administrators opened a short survey on 7 May 2026, inviting research management and administration professionals working at non-university research institutes to share their experience and needs.The work formed part of ARMA's Member Engagement Group remit. Research institutes sit outside the higher education environment that has shaped most of ARMA's existing support, so the survey aimed to surface where bespoke resources, training or networks would add the most value to the segment.
Findings will feed into the design of new ARMA services for institute-based members during the second half of 2026. The survey runs through the ARMA website.
