Tom Phillips Takes the Helm as Ladies European Tour Chief Executive

With 25 years in global golf leadership, Tom Phillips has begun a new chapter as Chief Executive of the Ladies European Tour.

The Ladies European Tour welcomed Tom Phillips as its new Chief Executive Officer on Monday, 6 April 2026, marking the start of a new phase for one of the world's leading professional golf tours. Phillips brings a 25-year career spanning golf leadership roles across multiple continents and a strong track record in commercial and organisational growth.

Phillips joins the LET from the DP World Tour, where he served for seven years as Director of the Middle East. During that tenure, he played a central role in a significant period of growth and transformation, overseeing the expansion of the European Tour Group to eight events in the region, including three Rolex Series tournaments, with combined prize money exceeding $35 million. Before this, he held the role of Chief Executive Officer at the Hong Kong Golf Association, where he had responsibility for the Hong Kong Open, alongside senior business development roles in Asia.

Earlier in his career, Phillips spent nearly 15 years working with six-time Major champion Sir Nick Faldo, including as Chief Executive Officer of the Faldo Series. Speaking on beginning his tenure, Phillips said he was deeply honoured to join the Ladies European Tour and lead an organisation with extraordinary potential. He stated his focus would be on three key groups: the tour's players, its partners, and its fans.

Phillips described his approach as being clear about who the organisation serves and what success looks like, while remaining flexible about how to get there. He set out his immediate priority as laying the right foundations for the tour's long-term growth and continued global impact.
