TechUK convenes its inaugural Climate Policy Forum
techUK convened its inaugural Climate Policy Forum on 8 May 2026, bringing together members, policymakers and industry experts to shape the future direction of the trade body's climate programme.The Forum gave the UK's technology trade association a structured space to test emerging policy positions with members. Discussions covered carbon accounting, data centre energy, supply chain disclosure and the technology sector's role in supporting industrial decarbonisation across the United Kingdom.
techUK said the Forum would meet on a recurring basis and feed directly into its policy submissions, member briefings and engagement with government departments. The full recap appears on the techUK website.
