PFS Pathway to the Profession reaches 500-member milestone
The Personal Finance Society announced on 28 April 2026 that its Pathway to the Profession programme had reached its 500-member target. The programme supports new entrants and career changers moving into financial advice and planning.Pathway combined structured study, mentoring, and employer engagement to help members work towards Diploma-level qualifications and chartered status. The 500 milestone arrived ahead of schedule, with strong demand from advisory firms looking to widen their talent pipeline.
The Personal Finance Society is the professional body for the UK financial planning sector and part of the Chartered Insurance Institute Group. The Society confirmed it would expand the programme to support a further intake in the second half of 2026.
