Membership Engagement: how to shift to a members-centric organisation

The session will provide a case study for organisational membership. The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) has had its most successful year for growth and engagement, signing up more than three times the number achieved in previous years and deepening the engagement of members. Learn how UICC has become a success story driven by 2.5 FTE. Isabel Mestres, Director for Membership and Partnership Development, will share useful insights and tools for participants to take back and apply to their organisations. She will cover fundamental aspects of the Membership Strategy, which involved aligning Membership with the organisation’s business plan, mobilising UICC staff, as well as our global network in members engagement and leveraging our organisational assets and key programmes.
