MyCEB is constantly ensure the executed support campaigns are in line with MOTAC’s 100-day key performance index for the Ministry to help tourism industry players continue their survival amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of the initiatives include the Meet in Malaysia campaign with the recently launched “Lets Meet Now” programme. The Campaign is designed to help the business events industry to recover and at the same time, encourage equal spread of wealth by engaging non-central venues in the country.
Apart from that, MyCEB will also be launching MySafe Travel Planner together with Business Events Council Malaysia (BECM). The Planner is a step-by-step format to assist and guide international delegates and event organisers through the safety measures as well as to rebuild public confidence in meetings and events industry.
To further strengthen Malaysia’s position as the knowledge capital, MyCEB has recently collaborated with Hybrid City Alliance and Asia Convention Alliance to rebuild the business events industry in the region. MyCEB strongly believe that with the spirit of togetherness, the industry will rebound from the pandemic and gain confidence from the international market as trusted destinations.
MyCEB will also be introducing a continuous efforts of Meet in Malaysia Campaign via the series of roadshows in different locations in Malaysia such as Langkawi, Kuching and Johor Bahru. These Meet in Malaysia roadshows serve as a platform to showcase Malaysia's best facilities and latest offerings to entice more industry partners to participate in this campaign.
