IMechE announces 2026 Focus Webinar Weeks programme

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) has announced its 2026 Focus Webinar Weeks programme, running from 27 April to 1 May 2026. The programme brings together themed webinars for IMechE members and the wider engineering community across industrial sectors, regions, and special interest groups.

The week combines webinars from IMechE's Industry Divisions with content from its international regions, covering topics including materials selection, digital manufacturing, net zero pathways, and the future workforce. The programme also reflects the Institution's collaboration with sister bodies, including the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Institution of Civil Engineers, and overseas engineering institutions, all of which support the global engineering profession.

IMechE has said the Focus Webinar Weeks format is designed to make high-quality continuing professional development accessible to members regardless of location, and to support the Institution's objective of helping engineers maintain chartered status in a fast-moving technical environment. Recordings will be made available through the members' portal for on-demand viewing.
