Internet Advertising Bureau UK has launched a new qualification for creators, as influencer marketing moves from a cottage trade towards a recognised profession. The qualification lands as the trade body's own Futurescape research shows 84% of brands and agencies expect to raise their investment in creator partnerships in 2026. Other markets have moved first, with influencer certification already rolled out across parts of Europe.

For a business membership body, a branded qualification is a practical way to set standards, lift trust, and give a sector a shared benchmark. It is a template any association can borrow when its field needs a common mark of competence.
