FIDIC renews collaboration agreement with WWF on sustainable infrastructure
The International Federation of Consulting Engineers renewed its collaboration agreement with the World Wide Fund for Nature on 11 May 2026.The renewed agreement set out joint priorities on nature-positive infrastructure, biodiversity safeguards in project design and the integration of natural capital considerations into the FIDIC suite of contracts. Both organisations confirmed continued co-working on practitioner guidance for consulting engineers.
FIDIC represents national consulting engineering associations from over 100 countries, covering more than a million engineering professionals worldwide. The Federation said the partnership would feed into upcoming FIDIC training and standards revisions.
