FENS Forum 2026 extends registration and grows member benefits
The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies has opened regular registration for the FENS Forum 2026, with places available until 2 June 2026 for Europe's largest international neuroscience meeting, taking place in Barcelona from 6 to 10 July.
The Forum will be held at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, co-organised with the Spanish Society of Neuroscience. More than 7,000 delegates are expected, with the programme spanning all areas of contemporary neuroscience from basic to translational research, including special lectures from leading researchers, symposia, workshops and career development sessions.
Alongside regular registration, the Federation has introduced a new member benefit. FENS members can now access the same registration rates offered to members of the Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS) for the 49th Annual Meeting of JNS, taking place in Kobe from 30 July to 2 August 2026. The reciprocal arrangement reduces costs for members wishing to attend both events and reflects a growing pattern of international partnership between regional neuroscience federations.
The Federation represents more than 22,000 neuroscientists across 43 European societies in 33 countries. With the early registration window now closed, scientists are encouraged to complete their plans ahead of the 2 June deadline to secure a place at what will be one of the largest gatherings of the neuroscience community this year.
