EPSI sets stage for 6th Annual Conference in Greece

The European Platform for Sport Innovation brings sport leaders and investors to Piraeus in September 2026 for its flagship conference on multisport and multistakeholder models.

The European Platform for Sport Innovation has announced the 6th edition of its Annual Conference, to be held from 23 to 25 September 2026 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece.

The conference will explore the theme "A Model for European Multisport and Multistakeholder Innovation," bringing together sport leaders, startups, investors, federations, clubs, policymakers, and public authorities from across EPSI's community of more than 235 members spanning 32 countries.

Over three days, delegates will engage with sessions focused on fundraising strategy, investment models, the connection between publicly financed European projects and commercial partnerships, and emerging trends reshaping the sport innovation sector. The event also serves as the platform where European startups meet investors directly, and where collaborations that begin within EU-funded projects translate into actionable outcomes.

The choice of Piraeus reflects a deliberate effort to situate the conference in a location with deep sporting and maritime heritage. Organisers have also planned curated cultural experiences alongside the programme, reinforcing EPSI's longstanding commitment to making the event as enriching personally as it is professionally.

The conference is open to both EPSI members and non-members, reflecting the network's aim to convene the widest possible range of voices from across the European sport ecosystem. Full details are available at www.epsi.eu/event/epsi-annual-conference-2026/
