EFIM hosts AI in Clinical Practice webinar on 11 June 2026
The European Federation of Internal Medicine (EFIM) has announced a webinar on AI in Clinical Practice, scheduled for 11 June 2026. The webinar is open to internists across EFIM member societies and addresses the practical questions physicians face as AI tools move from research prototypes into everyday clinical workflows.
The programme will cover clinical decision support, diagnostic imaging, predictive analytics and the ethical considerations that accompany each of these applications. EFIM has invited speakers from leading academic centres and has coordinated the programme with sister organizations, including the European Union of Medical Specialists and national societies such as the Società Italiana di Medicina Interna, to ensure content is relevant across European health systems.
EFIM has said the webinar forms part of a wider educational programme for 2026 that includes the federation's annual European Congress of Internal Medicine and its Young Internists initiative. The Federation has signalled that AI-related content will feature more prominently in its programming over the coming years as physicians contend with changing regulatory frameworks and evolving patient expectations.
