EFFAT closes its Strengthening Social Dialogue in Agri-Food project

The European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions closed a sector project.

The European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions closed out its Strengthening Social Dialogue in the Agri-Food Sector project in spring 2026.

The multi-year programme delivered exchanges, training and joint recommendations between employer organisations and unions across the European agri-food workforce. The final outputs included sector dialogue toolkits and country reports, which EFFAT affiliates can now use as a baseline for national-level bargaining and policy work.

EFFAT represents 120 national trade unions across 35 European countries, covering food, agriculture, tourism, domestic work and home care. The full project archive sits on the EFFAT website.
