EERA appoints Vanya Veras as Secretary General
The European Electronics Recyclers Association appointed Vanya Veras as its new Secretary General, effective 1 April 2026. Veras succeeded Julie-Ann Adams, who concluded her term at the end of March 2026 after more than four years in post.Veras brings more than 30 years across European affairs, environmental policy, sustainability and stakeholder engagement, including 20 years in waste management. She started her Brussels career in 1995 and previously contributed to the development of Municipal Waste Europe as a sector organisation.
EERA represents companies recycling electrical and electronic equipment across Europe. The Association said the appointment would support its work on regulatory frameworks, market conditions and investment in the circular economy for electronics.
