Education a Global Industry: How GAFTA Revitalised its Online Learning Strategy

Educating the grain industry is one of Gafta’s key responsibilities—but with its membership spread across over 95 countries, face-to-face training is not accessible for everyone.

Head of Training and Events, Grain and Feed Trade Association

Sophie joined Gafta in March 2017 as Head of Training and Events and is responsible for the delivery of the organisation's extensive online and face-to-face training programme. Prior to this, she ran the events team for a well-known financial services trade body. Sophie has also worked in the commercial events sector, first running conferences for the transport planning industry and then for a medical publishing house.
