Digital Print Asia 2025 ignites new era of innovation and sustainability in digital printing
ReEnvision Events Private Limited has successfully inaugurated Digital Print Asia 2025 (dpa), a landmark two-day summit dedicated to the evolving landscape of digital printing. Held on August 21 and 22 at Novotel, Jaipur, Rajasthan, the event gathered digital printing manufacturers, technology experts, and industry leaders under a shared agenda to innovate, network, and guide the future of the sector. The summit featured a comprehensive programme with a single common session on the first day followed by three focused breakout sessions on the second, designed to ignite fresh thinking and explore cutting-edge trends that promise to reshape digital print applications.
The event's opening saw an inaugural session graced by prominent dignitaries such as Nihar Kothari, Executive Editor & Director of The Patrika Group; Seiji Nakashima, Corporate Vice President of Konica Minolta’s Professional Print Business; and other key figures including Anil Arora of ReEnvision Events and Tushar Dhote, co-chairman of PAMEX and curator of dpa. Kothari emphasised the transformative impact of digital printing, describing it as a novel panorama complementing traditional print. Seiji Nakashima offered perspectives on Konica Minolta’s advancements and India’s growing role in digital print markets, signalling strong ties between global technology providers and regional growth opportunities.
Financial models underpinning digital printing investments were detailed by Rishab Kohli, Managing Director of TPH Orient Group, who outlined the escalating business prospects driven by digital print technologies. Amit Khurana, CEO of TechNova Imaging Systems, highlighted broader global and Southeast Asian trends, underscoring digital disruption’s tangible effects on printing industry dynamics. Pranav Parikh, chairman of TechNova, though absent, conveyed his support for the summit’s visionary outlook through a message delivered by senior marketing executive Deepak Chawala.
Day two’s agenda was divided into three breakout sessions, each heralding specialised discussions and presentations. The first, moderated by Deepak Chawala, focused on innovations in flexible packaging and label printing, featuring insightful contributions from Dr Tri Taludhar of TriJet Limited on inkjet printing characterisation and optimisation. The second session, led by Ajay Aggarwal, CEO of Insight Communications, explored new paradigms in book printing, including the increasing relevance of short-run digital production exemplified by Penguin Random House India's supply chain perspectives presented by Ajay Kumar Joshi. Issues such as inkjet cleaning and its role in print quality maintenance were also addressed.
The third session, moderated impressively by Mehul, spotlighted digital embellishment technologies, with Manish Gupta of Konica Minolta India presenting advancements like JetVarnish and MGI, tools that are redefining business opportunities across sectors. Each breakout concluded with panel discussions, providing delegates a platform to delve deeper into innovations and practical strategies, thereby framing a collective vision for digital printing’s future.
Complementing the conference sessions, an exhibition showcased the latest digital printing machinery, materials, and technologies from renowned partners including Canon India, Konica Minolta, TechNova, and more. This expo allowed attendees to experience firsthand the tools and solutions driving industry evolution and facilitating automation and efficiency.
Digital Print Asia 2025 not only served as a knowledge-sharing and networking platform but also as a catalyst for sustainable business growth and technological innovation in print services.
