CPSA Secures Three-Year Partnership with Laporte

Clay Pigeon Shooting Association welcomes French trap maker as key sponsor of the England team

The Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA), the national governing body for clay target shooting in England, has announced a new three-year partnership with Laporte, the French clay target and trap manufacturer, in a deal that sees the company become a key sponsor of the England team.

The agreement will see Laporte contribute to the training and competition preparation costs of England team athletes, providing financial and material support as members prepare for national and international competition. As part of the arrangement, Laporte will also support the introduction of a new Ground Partnership Programme, designed to give England team members greater access to practice opportunities at selected CPSA-affiliated grounds across the country.

Iain Parker, Chief Executive of the CPSA, said the body was delighted to welcome Laporte as a partner, noting that their support would be invaluable in helping athletes prepare and perform at the highest level. The Ground Partnership Programme represents a new development in strengthening connections between the England squads, affiliated shooting grounds, and the wider membership community.

Laporte is globally recognised for their high-quality clay targets and traps, with a strong reputation for innovation and reliability across all levels of the sport. The three-year term of the agreement provides a stable platform for both organisations to build on their shared commitment to competitive clay shooting in England.
