ACE launches 2026 CEO Masterclass series with Nous Group

New leadership programme launches for public and not-for-profit chief executives.

The Association of Chief Executives (ACE) has launched its 2026 CEO Masterclass series, delivered in partnership with consultancy Nous Group. The programme is designed for newly appointed and experienced chief executives leading public bodies, arm's-length organisations and not-for-profit institutions, with sessions addressing the practical realities of the CEO role.

The series combines in-person masterclasses with peer discussion, case studies, and one-to-one coaching. Topics include governance with boards and ministers, strategic decision making under uncertainty, organisational change, stakeholder management, and personal resilience. Faculty draw on senior CEO experience from across the UK public and third sectors, and on the international work of Nous Group with government and public service clients.

ACE has said the new programme builds on feedback from its 2025 cohort, which highlighted the value of extended peer contact and tailored content for CEOs in their first two years in post. The Association runs a wider programme of peer groups, events, and policy work aimed at supporting chief executives across public life.
