94th EAS Congress preparations finalised for Athens, May 2026

The European Atherosclerosis Society released the final programme for the 94th EAS Congress in late April 2026, ahead of the event in Athens on 24 to 27 May. The Congress is co-hosted with the Hellenic Atherosclerosis Society.

The programme covers basic, translational and clinical research into atherosclerosis and related vascular disease, including the Anitschkow Lecture, plenary sessions on lipoprotein(a), keynote addresses and focused workshops. The Society has confirmed in-person and virtual attendance options.

Young Investigator Fellowships have been awarded to support early-career scientists presenting their work. EAS President Alberico Catapano said Athens will give the cardiovascular research community its richest scientific exchange yet, with strong cross-society participation from the European Society of Cardiology and World Heart Federation.
