About the Organisation

Our vision is a world free from MND. Our mission is to improve care and support for people with MND, their families, and their carers. We fund and promote research that leads to new understanding and treatments and brings us closer to a cure for MND. The Association also campaigns and raises awareness so that the needs of people with MND, as well as everyone who cares for them, are recognised and addressed by the wider society.

About the role

Are you ready to coordinate partnerships that bring researchers together and accelerate progress in MND research? We have a brand-new opportunity for a Research Partnerships Coordinator at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. MND Collections:

  • Provide operational coordination for the MND Collections (the Association’s biological and data resource supporting MND research), including logging enquiries, supporting access requests, and preparing documentation for review.
  • Liaise with sample providers, biobank staff, and researchers to gather required forms, governance materials, and delivery details.
  • Maintain accurate databases and spreadsheets tracking applications, approvals, sample usage, governance documentation, and impact metrics.
  • Support annual NHS Research Ethics Committee reporting by gathering data, compiling updates, and organising required records.
