About the role

As Regional Member Engagement Manager, you’ll lead the development of an inclusive and connected professional community within your region. Working closely with the Regional Board and internal teams, you’ll design and deliver meaningful engagement opportunities that reflect the needs and aspirations of our members.

Responsibilities

From strategic planning and event delivery to digital storytelling and early careers outreach, your work will help shape a vibrant member experience and strengthen RICS’ presence in the region.

  • Develop and deliver the Regional Market Plan with the Regional Board and internal teams.
  • Recruit and support Regional Board members to ensure effective governance.
  • Design engagement strategies that reflect the diversity of our membership.
  • Organize events and networking opportunities that promote learning and collaboration.
  • Respond to member queries and support candidates, counsellors, and stakeholders.
  • Lead early careers initiatives and outreach to schools and universities.
  • Manage regional social media and digital content to showcase member achievements.
  • Use data and feedback to improve engagement and demonstrate impact.

Skills, Competencies, Experience & Attributes

  • Experience in member and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and develop trusted relationships across a range of sectors and career stages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and facilitate discussions effectively.
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering events and engagement programmes, ensuring they meet objectives and provide value.
  • Understanding of governance processes and experience supporting boards or committees in a professional setting.
  • Ability to interpret data and feedback, using insights to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Competent with social media and digital tools, creating content that informs and connects members.
  • Well-developed organizational skills, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and a collaborative approach, with a commitment to ensuring all members feel included and supported.
