About the Organisation
ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development, and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) that cover 36 countries. The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels provides support on technical, market, and policy developments for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with EU decision-makers, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users, and other stakeholders.
About the role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Regional Coordination Specialist to join ENTSO-E Secretariat’s Market and Operations section!. In this role, you will provide key work for the Market and Operations Section, focusing on stakeholder engagement, support, and coordination both internally and externally.
This includes participating in meetings, aligning cross-sections and cross-committees, implementing Regional Coordination tasks, and supporting key groups across several ENTSO-E bodies. You will work at the ENTSO-E office in Brussels, where a hybrid working environment is offered. You work in a team composed of 3 other colleagues and report directly to the Regional Coordination Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance (including Business and technical insight), support, and coordinate activities as an advisor to the Steering Group, Regional Coordination and related working groups/task teams, under the System Operations Committee.
- Support the organisation of the Steering Group Regional Coordination, and related task team/working meetings: manage documents, prepare agendas, create slides, and draft minutes.
- Facilitate discussions and exchanges between group members and relevant working groups/task teams, and between the Steering Group, the Regional Coordination and Regional Coordination Centres (RCCs) and TSOs.
- Collect and structure project-related information from the Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Regional Coordination Centres (RCCs) and other internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and update planning and roadmaps (timelines, milestones), and track the progress of implementation of deliverables under the responsibility of the Steering Group, Regional Coordination and related task teams and working groups.
- Prepare clear and high-quality material (cover notes, reports) towards various internal and external bodies, including regulators, ACER, the European Commission and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate the amendments and maintenance (including budget monitoring) of Multi-Lateral Agreements under your responsibility in coordination with internal and external technical, finance and legal experts
- Ensure budget preparation and follow-up of the Steering Group Regional Coordination activities.
- Maintain dedicated SharePoint tools, including access requests management, together with relevant advisors in the Market & Operations section.
- Identify and propose possible efficiency improvements for project execution in collaboration with internal teams.
Skills, Competencies & Experience
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience in coordinating multiple projects and tasks under complex structures and across multiple groups and disciplines.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to structure and synthesise information delivered by multiple sources clearly and concisely. Experience in explaining and clarifying complex problems to diverse audiences, from technical experts to project managers to external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in building and managing constructive relations with stakeholders, preferably in the electricity sector.
- Previous experience with a TSO or an RCC will be considered as an asset.
- Attention to detail, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to high-quality standards.
- Proactive and flexible with a service-oriented attitude and the ability to self-prioritise and adapt to new priorities being set by the manager or the members.
- Strong Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English with motivation to work within a multinational and multicultural professional environment.

Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent, working experience at least 5 years of experience in activities.
