About the Organisation
Fair Education Alliance (FEA) is a cross-sector coalition of around 300 member organisations working together to tackle educational inequality across England. Its shared vision is to ensure that no child’s opportunities or success are limited by their socioeconomic background. FEA brings together organisations from different sectors, education phases, and regions, supporting children and young people from early childhood through to career development.
Collectively, its members provide direct support to millions of young people each year, alongside wider support through funding, training, research, and campaigning. FEA advocates for an inclusive education system that values skills and wellbeing alongside academic attainment and helps all children and young people thrive regardless of their background. Its work is structured around five long-term Fair Education Impact Goals, addressing inequalities in early development, attainment, wellbeing, essential skills, and progression into further education, employment, and training.
