Online wine tastings are enjoyable and fun - much-needed in the current times.
This tasting is for CEOs and Membership Directors & Heads of Department based in the United Kingdom.
This successful format involves up to 15 guests who receive the wine couriered to them in advance from our professional wine merchant. The tasting itself takes place on Zoom at 5pm on Friday 26 June, and is followed by discussion.
The format is
- Short welcome
- Wine tasting with talk on the wine and region (20-25 mins)
- Q&A on the wine
- Discussion about association digital transformation challenges
- Main event completed by 18:00hrs, with option to continue
Smederevka 2018, Tikves Winery, Macedonia
The Smederevka grape variety is grown by Tikves Winery, which has been at the heart of northern Macedonia wine-making for over 130 years ago. Macedonia has influences of various microclimates, soils and winemaking philosophies that make it a rich haven of crisp, fresh whites, of great interest and quality.
Wine Expert
The wine expert Caspar Bowes is experienced in giving successful online wine tastings, making them fun and informative. For thirty years he has been giving advice for drinking wine, laying it down in private cellars as well as for investment. His expertise covers wines from throughout Europe, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Australia as well as Bulgaria, Romania and Greece.
Who can attend?
Anyone can attend who is an employee of an association, society or federation based in the United Kingdom.
There are a maximum of 15 places, so please book early.
