Fixing a broken board/secretariat relationship The management of Associations is very similar to commercial companies but the leadership-secretariat relations are extremely different and at times challenging. The decision making is a full task of the board while most of the responsibility of making sure that the decisions taken by the board are implemented are of the staff. We will try to explore some scenarios and give some tips of how to resolve difficult, and at times conflicting, situations. |
