About the Organisation
College of Europe Alumni Association is the official network connecting the thousands of graduates from the College of Europe, an elite postgraduate institute of European studies with campuses in Bruges (Belgium) and Natolin (Poland). The Association plays a key role in fostering lifelong connections between alumni and promoting the values and mission of the College.
About the role
As the College of Europe's alumni network continues to grow across Europe and beyond, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, experience in social media management, and an interest in the workings of the European network of professionals. Administrative Officer plays a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of an organization’s day-to-day operations. This position supports management and staff by handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the President and Board, and the management of the Alumni Association and its range of activities
- Support communication activities, including assisting with newsletters, social media, and website updates
- Organise internal meetings (scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes, follow-up)
- Assist in coordinating with Alumni sections and volunteers
- Assist in planning and executing Alumni events
- Maintain the Alumni database and update internal records
Skills, Competencies, & Experience
- Proven experience in administration, organisation, and coordination roles
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Clear and effective communication, both written and spoken
- Fluency in English (French or other EU languages are an asset)
- Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of the College of Europe or Alumni networks is an advantage
