About the Organisation
FEDIOL aisbl is the European association representing the vegetable oil and protein meal industry. Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, FEDIOL advocates for the interests of oilseed crushers, vegetable oil refiners, and bottlers across the European Union.
The European vegetable oil and protein meal industry, as represented by FEDIOL, encompasses approximately 180 facilities across Europe, providing around 20,000 direct jobs.
Annually, the sector processes about 55 million tonnes of commodities, including oilseeds like rapeseed, sunflower seed, soybeans, and linseed, as well as tropical oils such as palm, palm kernel, and coconut oils. The resulting products—refined oils and protein meals—are utilized in food, feed, technical, and energy applications, primarily within the European market
About the role
An Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in an office or organization. They support managers, teams, and departments by handling administrative and clerical tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist managers with the organization of their agenda, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Assist in coordinating and supporting meetings and events (select/coordinate venues, arrange catering, book travel & accommodation, manage registrations, create badges, welcome and support participants, ...).
- Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations for meetings.
- Data / file management (contact lists, documents, incoming information, scientific data collections);
- Office stock management;
Skills, Competencies & Experience
Skills:
- Ability to work autonomously and to integrate with a team
- Dynamic, motivated, organized, precise, and attentive to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Workspace knowledge is a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and oral (working language)
