What’s New, Better & Different?

Opened in early 2026, the reimagined Sydney Fish Market at Blackwattle Bay is nearly ready to welcome visitors for a truly unique culinary experience. With a $836 million investment, the market features fresh produce, retail, and dining vendors in an open-plan waterfront setting.

Five permanent art installations situated around the markets will honour local First Nations histories, offering an enriching cultural experience for visitors. Sustainability has been at the forefront of the development, with over 400 solar panels and a 5 Star Green Star rating, supporting NSW’s net zero commitment by 2050. The venue will support 700 jobs and provide a vibrant location for networking and delegate experiences.

Western Sydney International Airport is on track to open in late 2026, unlocking a new global gateway to one of the country's fastest-growing regions. The airport is built to accommodate 10 million passengers annually from day one and operate 24/7, with transport links to the CBD currently in development. Named after aviation pioneer Nancy-Bird Walton, the airport will boost connectivity, support thousands of jobs, and make Western Sydney more accessible for international delegates.

Australia’s first Waldorf Astoria is under construction in Sydney’s Circular Quay, overlooking Sydney icons such as the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and the Sydney Harbour. Set to open in late 2026, the addition of Waldorf Astoria to Sydney’s vast collection of hotels elevates the city’s offering with stunning harbour views, ballrooms, boardrooms, and premium amenities. This hotel will cater to high-end events, VIP receptions, and gala dinners set against a world-renowned backdrop.
