Professional training programmes offer significant value both to associations and their members. With the quickly changing markets and trends, members are turning to their associations for learning opportunities, certifications and career advancement programmes. To support members, associations must develop and continuously improve their training and educational offerings. Join us to learn how to develop and expand your training portfolio to ensure members return to your courses year after year.

The Engineering Equipment and Materials Users Association (EEMUA) has introduced and improved a wide range of successful training courses, including awareness e-learning modules, blended online courses and several more are under development for launch in 2025. To understand how this was achieved, we will hear from EEMUA’s Operations Director John Lilley who has led the development of digital learning for EEMUA's members. He will share his experience with implementing member training courses, with special focus on:

  • Meeting the needs of the EEMUA membership (owners and operators of fixed industrial assets) and keeping aligned over time.
  • The pros and cons of the various delivery formats: face-to-face, live online, blended online, and standalone e-learning.
  • How to expand internationally in complex environments, including delivering courses and exams in multiple locations and languages.
