E-Mobility Europe advocates for a successful transition to electric vehicles across Europe, to the benefit of both its people and industries. Our 80+ members include front-running electric vehicle manufacturers, infrastructure providers, fleet operators, supply chain companies, technology companies, and national associations.

About the role

E-Mobility Europe, the association representing the e-mobility ecosystem in Europe, is hiring a Project and Communication Officer to support our communication work on a portfolio of EU-funded research and innovation projects related to the electric vehicles sector. Based in Brussels, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project and Communication Officer to join our team. We offer an attractive working environment in a growing association, within a dynamic, international team.

Responsibilities

Project Manager and Communication & Event Manager:

  • Lead E-Mobility Europe’s participation in selected EU-funded projects. Our typical role in EU projects is communication and dissemination (as WP leader or partner).
  • Manage tasks within each project, including but not limited to the communication and dissemination, development and implementation, organisation of physical and online events, supporting knowledge transfer and educational activities, as well as stakeholder engagement and policy recommendations drafting.
  • Administrative coordination of each project, including drafting deliverables as well as technical and financial reports.
  • Represent E-Mobility Europe at project meetings and events, including online and in-person presentations in Brussels and around Europe – several trips per year are foreseen.
  • Support the development of new projects, building consortia, and highlighting funding opportunities for E-Mobility Europe’s members.

Skills, Competencies & Experience

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in EU-funded projects management and implementation.
  • Experience in the field of communication, preferably as a communication and dissemination work package leader of EU-funded projects consortia.
  • Excellent command of English (written & spoken) and strong communication skills; other languages are a plus.
  • Comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders (project partners,  policymakers, industry actors) and their mobilisation in communication and dissemination activities.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress), email marketing platforms (Mailchimp), and design programmes (Canva, InDesign).
  • Understanding of EU decision-making processes; knowledge of EU policy in mobility, environment, energy, and R&I (Horizon Europe, Life, Erasmus+) funding programmes is an asset.
  • Passionate about sustainable mobility and energy.
  • Capable of working independently and with a team.
  • Highly autonomous, meticulous, and organised; able to meet multiple deadlines while delivering quality.
  • Creative, pro-active, and reliable.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe to participate in EU-funded projects’ events and meetings.
