About the role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the global neuroscience community? The International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) is looking for a Communications Coordinator (CC) to support the strategic planning and implementation of communications actions to reinforce IBRO’s strong brand and growing visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating IBRO’s strategic communications and brand;
  • Managing our website and online communications, coordinating the production of IBRO’s annual report, impact stories, and newsletter;
  • Developing online campaigns and producing IBRO’s regular webinar series;
  • Supporting visibility for IBRO’s actions and programs through coordination with colleagues, external suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Skills, Competencies & Experience

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must for all communications.
  • Experience in a nonprofit environment, and a keen interest in IBRO’s mission;
  • Experience with website management and production of targeted, imaginative communications tools;
  • Good understanding of campaign planning and project management;
  • A self-driven approach, with the ability to work independently as required and to collaborate effectively within a small team
