Following eight years as CEO of the Commonwealth Lawyers Association, Katherine Eden Haig has decided to make a change with the opening of her new company Association Resources Company (ARC) providing associations with much needed interim resources.

“In my travels I’ve met many association executives who constantly told me they could get so much more out of events or projects with an extra pair of experienced hands but there’s no budget or real need for a permanent hire and agency staff and often inexperienced and too expensive”

With her 30 years experience working at senior levels in IT, international banking and associations the idea behind ARC is to offer associations experienced resources with the flexibility to call on those resources for as little as a few days or as long as needed.  ARC offers a variety of services to customers including event support, project management and identification of suppliers for their various needs.

“We very flexible about the work we do.  We have recently supported  a large conference in Malaysia; an international meeting in Geneva and we are currently working as consultants to a UK based organisation who are considering a new CRM as their first step toward automation.  We can work remotely or in the customer's office.  Our aim is to keep things simple for our customers. They are pleased to deal with one company with whom they establish a relationship of trust.  It’s simple and it works”
